Frequently asked Questions & Answers
Q: Are we allowed to bring our own food?
A: Yes! You can choose your catering services and bring your own food on property. We do ask for your caterer to be approved by the venue. Please note that no cooking is allowed on property, all food must be prepared before arriving. You are even welcomed to bring your own NON Alcoholic beverages.
Q: Can we have candles & Fireworks?
A: We do not allow any open flames on property. The ONLY exception to this rule are sternos to keep food warm.
Q: Does the venue setup our decorations?
A: The venue will only handle things that belong to us. For liability purposes our staff does not setup/take down anything that does not belong to the venue.
Q: What if it rains?
A: Your venue manager will go over your layout with you a month prior to your event. The venue does not setup outside unless there are tents covering your layout. Ceremony chairs do not need to be setup under cover, your point of contact for the day of will make a weather call 2 hours before ceremony begins to determine if Plan B is in effect. Plan B for ceremonies is on our side patio & can seat up to 50 guests max.
Q: Does the venue offer tents?
A: Our venue does not offer tents however we are happy to point you in the direction of the Big Islands best vendors for your tent needs. Tent vendor must be approved by the venue. All structures must be provided by and setup/broken down by a licensed company.
Q: How much rental time will I need?
A: This is determined by the length of your event. Weddings average 6 hours of event time from ceremony start to reception finish. Depending on the extent of your decor and vendors setup averages 2-3 hours and breakdown 1.5-2 hours.
Q: Do you have a preferred vendor list?
A: Yes! Our preferred vendor list is shared with our clients at no charge upon booking.
